It was late August when Justin-Siena and St. Patrick/St. Vincent-Vallejo met in a scrimmage to get the 2008 high school football season going.

The Napa High football team scheduled tough nonleague opponents in the first half of the season to help it prepare for the postseason.

Justin-Siena High School’s volleyball season came to an end Wednesday night with a 3-1 loss to No. 1 seed Marin Catholic in the semifinals of the CIF North Coast Section Division IV playoffs in Kentfield.

The Storm clinched their second consecutive Bay Valley Conference title with Wednesday night’s 25-18, 25-16, 25-17 home victory.
