4:15 p.m.The final count of Napa County ballots has changed the preliminary election night result in both the St. Helena and Calistoga city council races.
After the last batch of votes were counted on election night, Sharon Crull was behind former council member Ken Slavens by a single vote for a seat on the St. Helena City Council.
Michael Dunsford also trailed James Barnes by 24 votes in Dunsford's bid for re-election to the Calistoga City Council.
The final vote tally by the county elections department was completed this afternoon, declaring Crull and Dunsford victorious. Crull ended up 29 votes ahead of Slavens, while Dunsford finished with 44 more votes than Barnes.
Dunsford went through a similar process in his first bid for council in 2004, being behind after the preliminary vote count but ending up the winner after all ballots were counted.
