10:10 a.m.A big rig attempting to make a U-turn at Imola Avenue and Coombs Street Monday morning overturned and dumped its load at the intersection, according to police.

The truck was loaded with construction materials headed to the site at the corner of Imola and Coombs where the new Long’s Drug store is being built.
No one was hurt, police said.

However, the crash closed the intersection as clean-up crews worked to remove the debris.
As of 10 a.m., police did not have an estimated time as to when the intersection would be open.

" How about a photo. Its an interesting sight. The trailer is twisted on its side but still atached to the tractor which is upright. "

" My husband was stuck in the backed up traffic for it. And I just got off the phone with him and he said it's all cleaned up now, open for traffic, and that he saw a Register photographer out there. There will be pics. "

" I saw it on my way to school...quite a sight...looked like a toy. The trailor was still attached to the tractor, but landed on its side and the wheels where facing foster freeze. I snapped a picture with my blackberry. "
