Two people were taken into custody on Thursday night when an American Canyon peace officer ran the license plate number of the car they were driving, police said.

The license plate came back showing the car had been reported stolen, police said.
The officer followed the car to an apartment complex on Eucalyptus Drive in American Canyon, where the two suspects parked the car and got into another stolen car, police said.

Tonequa Marie Wroten, 27, of Vallejo and James Earl Graves, 36, of Sacramento were arrested on suspicion of auto theft and possession of stolen property.

" Something needs to be done about these unruly thiefs----- Maybe all permanent residents of the valley need to get a tatoo of a cluster of grapes on their foreheads. At least that would ID
who is local and who is out of town. Heck it would create another unneccessary tourist attraction. Police can't catch the bad guys cause they be to busy eating doughnuts or tacos1 "

" sa91158, That is not very nice of you to say that about your Napa police, I know for a fact they do what they can and that is not just sitting around eating doughnuts or tacos! "

" SA91158's post makes no sense. After reading the article, i'm confident that the police actually caught the bad guys (girl). To just say they're too busy eating doughnuts and tacos is pretty much unfair. "
