Last week: Colby Silva had a fumble recovery and Juan Martinez and David Smith sparked Napa’s defense as it shut out Vacaville’s explosive offense over the final 11⁄2 quarters of a 50-35 victory that clinched a share of the MEL title. Vintage kept its playoff hopes alive with a 42-21 rout at Armijo, as Jacob Roscoe returned from injury to score a career-best four TDs and 181 yards on 18 carries.

Justin-Siena (5-4, 3-3 MCAL) at Tamalpais (5-4, 2-4)

Last week: Justin-Siena celebrated Homecoming by crushing Terra Linda, 47-6. San Rafael beat Tamalpais 35-20.

St. Helena (4-5, 1-2 NCL I South) at Clear Lake (6-2-1, 3-0)

Last week: St. Helena lost a heartbreaker to St. Vincent 7-3. Clear Lake won at Upper Lake 20-14.

Point Arena (1-5, 1-4 NCL II ) at Calistoga (3-6, 2-3)

Last week: The Wildcats fell to Anderson Valley at home, 32-21.

Prep Girls Cross Country: Justin-Siena nabs four All-MCAL spots

Competing in a field of 88, Braves runners Leslie Johnson, Sara Warner, Jenna Joske and Erin Kinda all finished in the top 20 to win spots on the All-Marin County Athletic League team.

Prep Boys Cross Country: Justin-Siena fifth MCAL Championships

With their fifth-place finish at the MCAL Championships on Wednesday in Novato, the Braves also advanced to the Div. IV NCS Championships. They will run at 1 p.m. Nov. 22 at Hayward High School, needing a top-3 finish to qualify for the state meet.

Prep Soccer: Millenium 2, Trinity Prep 1

Dan Carvalho scored a goal, but it wasn’t enough as Trinity Prep fell to Millenium of Tracy in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs on Tuesday.

Prep Volleyball: Modesto 3, Vintage 1

The Crushers fell short against a streaking home team and were eliminated from the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs. Modesto extended its win streak to 12 matches.

College Women’s Golf: Ang finishes eighth

Jackie Ang shot a final-round 82 on Tuesday and finished eighth at the California Community College Commission on Athletics’ Northern California Regional Championship at Lemoore Golf Course in Kings County.

Freshman Football: Napa 46, Wood 16

The Indians finished 9-0 overall with last Thursday night’s victory.
