Napa v. Vacaville preview

Take a guessThere's just one week before the annual BIg Game of Napa High v. Vintage High in football.

Before we get there, though, Napa faces a big challenge tonight against traditional rival Vacaville.

What is your prediction for tonight's matchup?

" Tonights game is all about which defense steps up. Both teams have explosive offenses and can almost score at will against most MEL teams. I look forward to watching....Napa 42-Vacaville 35. "

" Napa had a hard enought ime containing Fairfield...... Napa has a great run Defense, and that is a strong point, but they are easily beaten on D by teams that throw the ball. It happened last year as well. It seems the scheme for Napa, is to stop the run and then outscore everyone.

Napa faced a tough D like Vaca's against Merced, and lost.

If you cannot consistently throw against Vaca, they will stack the box and blitz you to death.

Recipe for both teams:
Throw the football tonight, early. Use the pass to soften the D, AND then RAM it down the heart of the D with the run.

Just my 2 cents from watching both teams from afar this year.
