In Monday’s voting, Vintage’s Katrina Husted, Corinne Schafle and Stephenie Frye earned All-Monticello Empire League honors, as did Napa High’s Erin Komplin, Cami Zeller and Kayla Madole.
Varsity Boys Soccer: Vintage at home to start playoffs
Vintage opens the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs at home Friday at 3 p.m. against Folsom at the Raider Field.
JV Volleyball: St. Helena 2, St. Vincent 0
Maddy Densberger had five kills, five digs and six aces and Callie Flood also had five kills in the Saints’ 25-16, 25-17 victory on Tuesday. Shelby Zumwalt contributed 10 assists, a kill and an ace, and Celia Miroglio had three kills.
College Men's Soccer: Napa Valley 3, Contra Costa 2
Luis Garcia’s header goal put the Storm on the board first in last week’s Bay Valley Conference road match. After a penalty kick tied it, Dionicio Arechiga put Napa Valley (5-9-4 overall, 3-5-2 BVC) ahead for good in the 37th minute.
Freshman Football: Justin-Siena 32, Piedmont 20
The Braves improved to 4-4 overall with last week’s wild nonleague road win.

Last week: Vintage amassed 442 yards in total offense and Sean Ryan passed for 257 yards and two touchdowns, but the Crushers lost their Monticello Empire League game to Vacaville, 35-19. It was the Crushers’ second straight loss. Armijo lost its fourth straight game, falling 23-9 to Wood.
Trojans oust Braves in MCAL volleyball tourney
Justin-Siena lost in the first round of the Marin County Athletic League volleyball playoffs Tuesday night as visiting Terra Linda dropped the first two games but rallied for a 25-27, 20-25, 25-14, 25-22, 17-15 victory.

Gianna Pasquariello had six kills and two aces and Jamie Marshall five kills, nine digs and four aces as the Saints cruised to a 25-15, 25-8, 25-14 victory on Tuesday night.
Girls varsity volleyball: Crusaders make all-league team
In the All-Northern Pacific Athletic Conference voting on Monday, Trinity Prep freshman Anna Arend was named to the first team and freshman teammates Marisa Streett and Claire Maxson landed second-team spots. Mary Birdsall received all-league honorable mention.
