Angel Bazaar

One of the highlights of the upcoming  Holiday Angel Bazaar at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church this weekend is a handmade quilt by Charlotte Little. The 96 by 96 inch quilt with a grapevine motif will be sold in the silent auction. The annual St. A’s event features 30 crafters booths, more than 40 raffle prizes and 50 silent auction items. The bazaar takes place at 3700 Lassen St. Napa; 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday ; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Info, 255-7200.

Vintage Band Review

Twenty-two high school bands converge on Napa Saturday as Vintage High School Band hosts the annual band review. It begins at 10 a.m. with a street competition on Trower Avenue in front of Vintage, which is free to the public. The field competition starts at 4 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. Tickets for this event are $8 adults, $5 students and senior, under 4 free, and a family pass for four is $25. Info, 299-2520.
