Napa Valley Unified School District —
Simone Moultak. Here in the southern part of Napa County, voters — and especially parents — should tune into a contested race for a seat on the board of the Napa Valley Unified School District board. Calistoga City Council —
Michael Dunsford, Karen Slusser. They made progress, although it was slower than Calistogans had hoped. They showed clear heads and steady hands, although occasionally they lacked innovation. They spoke their minds, but they didn’t get bogged down in petty personal distractions. (

St. Helena Mayor —
Bonnie Schoch. Schoch is challenging Britton for the mayor’s seat because she believes she could use the mayor’s pulpit to be a catalyst for civic improvements. Although both candidates support workforce housing, Schoch’s approach to governing is more likely to get the job done. (
