Veronica Zimmermann  — the 17-year-old Napa girl killed in a Sunday night crash on First Avenue — has had a scholarship fund established in her name at one of her former high schools.

In lieu of flowers, the Zimmermann family suggests donations may be made to the Veronica Zimmermann Memorial Scholarship Fund for Justin-Siena High School, c/o Westamerica Bank, 1 Financial Plaza, Napa, CA 94558, 255-8301 (attn: Wren).
