Dear editor,

While my wife and I were walking in Napa enjoying a beautiful day, we met a woman from American Canyon. During our conversation it came up that we all lived in District 5, and we were all interested in the election of the supervisor who will represent us. She said that she had met Keith Caldwell when he was in the fire department and that he had always gone out of his way to be of help and that he always took an interest in the children of American Canyon, but she was troubled about some letters to the editor she read in the Register. Because of the letters, she said she couldn’t make up her mind now on how to vote.
When I asked her again if her experiences with Keith Caldwell had been positive experiences, she affirmed that yes, they were very positive.

I said to her, and I say to anyone reading this letter, to make up your own mind based on your own knowledge. If you have questions of a candidate, ask the candidate to clear up your questions. Get answers that satisfy you.
There are people writing letters to the Register in an attempt to sway you to their way. They want you to vote to satisfy their agendas. Some of them are not even from our district. Don’t do it!

We have many important issues in District 5 that are not going to be easy to solve, and we need a district supervisor who is real, who is hands on, who will go out of his way to find out what we, the people of District 5, want and need. If you have any doubts about who that supervisor should be, ask the candidates.
I have asked Keith Caldwell about the issues that concerned me and I believe Keith is the better candidate for the Fifth District Board of Supervisors.

Insist on getting the answers you need!
