Drug arrest in American Canyon

American Canyon Police officers arrested Wilma Clarece Murrieta, 46, on suspicion of being under the influence of methamphetamine, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation Saturday evening.

Police responded to a report of a woman acting strangely, appearing to be on drugs American Canyon Police Sgt. Mike Collins said. Officers arrived and determined that Murrieta was under the influence of meth.
She was on probation at the time of her arrest and a search revealed that Murrieta was in possession of meth as well as drug paraphernalia. She was booked in jail.
