VP choice shows McCain is not ready
Dear editor, The Napa Register’s endorsement of John McCain for president cannot go unchallenged.
The most important issue in this election is the judgment of the candidate. For McCain, one example of his judgment trumps all others.
It is the epitome of arrogance for McCain to claim Gov. Sarah Palin is the best choice to be president in his stead. Palin has an astounding lack of knowledge of world events and economic policy. Her cutesy, flirtatious winks to the camera during the only vice-presidential debate (her “job interview”) are insulting and would not be tolerated if attempted by any other candidate, female or male. Conservative commentator Kathleen Parker has said she is “clearly out of her league.”
Perhaps most disturbing is Palin’s lack of dignity at rallies during which audience members have called Obama a terrorist and advocated his assassination. Instead of immediately denouncing these wrong, hateful and threatening comments, Palin said nothing. This tacit endorsement of these radical outbursts leaves the impression she condones these ideas.
Clearly, Palin does not have the background or judgment to be vice president, let alone president. In choosing Palin as his running mate, McCain has shown that he, too, does not have the necessary judgment to be president.

Compare that to Obama, who's only qualification is a community organizer for ACORN which is being sued in 15-states for rampant voter fraud...
So how come, if Obama's so great and can save the world, he has to cheat to win...??? "

Biden comes across like a slick used car salesman. Clearly, he is not an agent for change, and he has been rejected twice by Dem voters as a candidate for president. Obama, by choosing a six-term Dem party hack, clearly shows he does not have the necessary judgment to be president.
The brilliant minds of the left must have decided that a tsunami wave of similar letters to the NVR is needed. I wonder why they seem so worried about it? What are they so nervous about? Do we have a little sweating under the armpits going on? Heart palpitations? You say how secure you are in your belief that Obama is the messiah, but can't handle anyone speaking any contrary opinion. If you are so sure, why are you worried about what anyone else says? Very strange . . .
comment: I'm from Chicago and I know how ACORN works.
raven: again, do your own homework. Just like a lefty, waiting for someone else to bring things to them. So tell me, what are you lefties going to do when everyone is forced to be a socialist? Who's going to do the work? Who's going to pay taxes? Where are you going to get wealth to spread? Have you considered how strong socialist economies are, say, like East Germany before reunification? Yeah, they were real strong, driving around two-cycle engined Trabants that made Yugos look like BMWs.
Personally I'm considering going John Galt if the socialists take over. "

what i have found is a bunch of people ready to make the most outlandish charges without backing them up....
and when you get a grasp of what socialism really is....lets talk, but right now you have fallen back to the time old GOP tactic...call it socialist...(a variation of the call him a communist move) "

According to Reuters, the owner of a company hired by the California Republican Party to register voters was arrested over the weekend on charges of voter registration fraud and perjury, officials said on Monday.
Mark Jacoby is accused of fraudulently registering himself to vote at a Los Angeles address where he no longer resides -- his boyhood home -- to meet a state law requiring all signature gatherers to register or be eligible to vote in California. "
