Berger-Kempkey wedding

Julia Carol Berger and Edwin Karl Kempkey, IV, of Napa, were married July 19, 2008, at the Black River Falls Methodist Church in Back River Falls, Wis.

The bride’s wedding party included Carmen Heard, Ramona Shackleford, Amanda Cunningham and Martha Berger. The flower girl was Penelope Cunningham.

The groom’s wedding party included Mark Kempkey, Ryan Tubman, Adam Mac Donnel and Wallace Kempkey. The ring bearer was Vincent Cunningham.

A reception, which included a polka band, followed at Skyline Golf Course.

After the wedding, the couple honeymooned on a Vancouver/Alaskan cruise for nine days.

Julia is the daughter of Dan and Virginia Berger, of Black River Falls, Wis. She is a 1997 graduate of Black River Falls High and a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she obtained a B.S. in secondary education. She works as a teacher at New Technology High School, in Napa.

Edwin is the son of Ed and Kerry Kempkey, of Napa, and grandson of Beverly Kempkey. He is a 1996 graduate of Vintage High School and a 2001 graduate of San Diego State University, where he obtained a B.S. in business administration. He works as an operations manager for Kempkey Insurance Services, in Napa.
