" I spoke with Zane Starkewolf on the phone a couple of days after Mike Thompson voted for the bailout. He sounded shaken. Starkewolf told me he was going to try and get an editorial into the Register and the Press Democrat. I don’t know if he did.

Starkewolf did post Congressman Ron Paul's and Congressman David Kucinich's videos denouncing this bailout on his website—notice a Republican and Democrat denouncing this bailout.

Starkewolf is young, but he still understands better than Thompson what this means for America.

Unfortunately, Thompson is backed by the vineyard owners, as indicated by Thompson’s signs in front of almost every vineyard in the valley, and people generally aren't educated on the issues, and vote according to the amount of exposure.

The economy will continue to slide downward, and even if Thompson is re-elected this time around, I believe people will finally wake up and realize what a disaster this bailout was for Americans, and take care of business in the next election cycle.

I guess you figured out that I’m voting for Starkewolf. "

" so....exactly how many vineyard owners are there in Thompson district......as a percentage of the voting populace i would say they are a distinct minority... so maybe there is something else that accounts for Thompson being reelected.....unless you are saying that vast majority of voters just don't know any better and caan be led around led cattle? "

" Raven I think your correct in your assesment that us voters can be lead around like cattle. I voted for the green party canidate. Why? We need to turn over all these so called leaders. Look where it got us. What ever happened to intellegence and serving a few terms not several. We turn over compost on a regular basis it should be the same with these piles that occupy Congress. "

" I'm going to have to write in my own name in several cadencies as I cannot, after what the unwanted child of Philosophy has lost it essential ethics. Politics is no longer The People as opposed to a faction (republican/democrat). The Conservative and Liberal are no longer a deciding factor in the future of The People. We The People deserve better than mindless television advertisements and dribble from individuals who really do not understand the will of The People nor their dreams, needs and freedoms. Those who desire a better American mind cannot be in the running as they merely speak to issues and want to take our Constitutional process away from politicians. It will take time and, as our current economy has shown, a process of elimination. The current process that is corrupt and factional must be eliminated in the spirit of our Constitution. WE are The People and we don’t have to vote for losers. "

" So JimClark, who are you going to vote for, or is this all about the rant? Mike Thompson paid his dues in state legislature before moving up to Congress. What has Zane done to prepare himself? "
