One heck of a guy

Dear editor, Guy Kay, a dedicated public servant in the best sense of that word, is running for re-election to a spot on the Napa County Parks and Open Space Commission.

This guy values the natural environment we enjoy in more ways than I could enumerate — and I am pretty good with numbers. If I had six votes, I would give all seven to Guy. Four in my first trip to the polls and five on my second. But they may not let me in the door the second time, so I am appealing to you readers to cast all 17 of your votes for Mr. Kay. Do it for your children, all 31 of them.
Duane Cronk / Angwin

" Brilliant letter.
Your math accuracy brings us all forward to Fibonacci Sequence...in a way.

Good luck to your "Guy"! "

" I am a little better at math than Mr. Cronk, and I agree that Guy Kay is a fine person. We are lucky to have someone of his caliber in public service. Thanks for all you do, Guy. "

" I think people are panicked about the way the elections office is handling this election result and this is what people are doing to get their votes counted before the election.

As you know, our county elections office will use only a few of our votes to establish a "statistical determination" to announce election results. "
