Laborde a man for the Aegis

Napa resident Tom Laborde has been promoted to vice president of operations of Aegis Living, supporting communities in Northern and Southern California. Laborde started with Aegis in 1998 as marketing director of Aegis Living of Napa, then moved into the executive director position, in 2001 was promoted to regional vice president then to his current role.

Pommerening gains mutual fund certificate

Miceli Financial Partners and MassMutual Financial Group announced associate Chris Pommerening has earned the Certified Fund Specialist designation from the Institute of Business and Finance. The CFS is the fourth-oldest designation program in the financial services industry and the only nationally recognized mutual fund designation. It is conferred upon candidates who complete an intensive year-long graduate school-level program on investing as it applies to mutual funds, closed-end funds, ETFs, REITs, and UITs.

Legal Aid of Napa Valley names two new board members

Legal Aid of Napa Valley is pleased to announce the addition of Osvaldo Gómez Martínez and Julia Walk, to its board of directors. Gómez Martínez is a Ph.D. candidate in social and political science at the University of Cambridge, and Walk is an attorney in the Napa office of Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty, where she specializes in estate planning and administration.
