Antinori family to be featured on '60 Minutes’
“60 Minutes,” the weekly CBS News magazine, will profile Italy’s Antinori family during its broadcast on Sunday, Oct, 12. This is the first wine company profile to be produced by “60 Minutes” in more than two decades.
Airing at 7 p.m. on Channel 5, the 14-minute story will feature interviews with Marchese Piero Antinori and his daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia.
The segment will include a discussion of the family’s history and legacy, and its contributions to the world wine community, which includes a growing presence in the Napa Valley as a partner with Washington state’s Chateau Ste. Michelle and landmark Stags Leap Wine Cellars.
It will also focus on the future of the family-owned wine company under the direction of Marchese Piero Antinori’s three daughters.
Backdrops for the discussions includes the family’s historic estates in Tuscany and Umbria as well as its California estate, Antica Napa Valley.
