ok I understand that when anybody decides to "afiliate" themselves with a gang they are taking risks, but if this is the case then your dear Chris took the risk too and now he's paying. " As most people I started my day opening up the news paper with a cup of coffee. To my dismay right there on the front page was a picture of a boy, a boy I have known for ten years. He was a boy just like any other boy. Loved to ride bikes, involved in little league, other sport activities. He was and is still very polite and always willing to lend a hand. This should be a lesson to all kids: 5 people lost their lives from one night, one bad choice, one split moment in time. One family grieves from the death of their son, the other families will grieve for the death of their sons lives. They will never marry, never have children of their own all because one group of kids is from the south and one is from the north??? How can we even thing this makes any sense? "

I have known Danny for at least five years, he is good friends with my son, my son is older and as always tried to be there for Danny and his brother. If you're encouraging others to get revenge, to pull the trigger, then you're a contributing party to the crime. The punishment will undoubtedly be less than the person who actually pulled the trigger "probably", but you played a role nevertheless. The jury will ask the question "well if there hadn't been five people standing around the guy who pulled the trigger shouting "kill him" would the trigger have been pulled"? Remember the case of Charles Manson who never actually killed anyone but encouraged others to do so? He is spending the rest of his life in prison because of it. Don't think it can't happen to you. Let this be a lesson to all of those who run to the scene of gang violence and play any participatory role.
