janet707: please tell me it is NOT true that grown men are still responding to their cute little gangbanger nicknames like "Grumpy"...I always felt this was a reflection of their childish mentalities...I am glad they label themselves for us. I also used to love when they walked around with pacifiers! THAT was funny. "

They know something, and if they do not talk unfortunately this is where they are going to stay. Chris is innocent until proven guilty, but NPD obviously has something linking him and the other suspects to this case. The bottom line here is it's too bad how much suffering this has brought to all the families involved.

" I was just thinking about this story, I have to drive by the crime scene everyday, and I always wondered if there was anything coming up soon, GREAT JOB NPD!!!
I am confused???? You first said great job NPD...then you say they guys they have had nothing to do with it???? "

Caringnapan, don't you know it takes 4 gangbangers to gather the "courage" for just one of then to pick up a gun and shoot someone...I think it is a rule or something. "

A very big part of the problem with gangs is that families and friends coe them into believing they're not quite hardcore and just boys being boys. Somehow they believe being in a gang is little more than being on a soccer team. It's just a game, and apart from a few bruises nobody will get hurt.
Face the music Gonzalez's and Gallegos', gangsters are just that and people die. Often innocent people. And society has to pay the price. If you know family in gangs tell them it's not acceptable and insist they change. Otherwise, they'll either die or end up in jail. "

A group of boys.....two groups (gangs)of boys.....went out one evening to have a little fun. Fun for them was for ALL of the to go out and cause bodily harm to other group (gang) . One of the boys got really brave and Shot another. No matter who pulled the trigger they are ALL responsible for the crime. It is the way the law works for broken windows when your buddy says, "Hey dude... bet ya can't throw a rock that far..." And strangely enough for Murder too. They ALL encouraged each other.....from BOTH sides! Every young man/lady that was there that night are responsible for this murder in some way or another. Even the victim himself...unfortunately.
I'd line them ALL up and give them ALL a good spanking...But that is just my opinion. "

ok I understand that when anybody decides to "afiliate" themselves with a gang they are taking risks, but if this is the case then your dear Chris took the risk too and now he's paying. People live double lifes, he could be a Honor Roll Student at home but when he's with his gang "afiliated" friends he could be different. and how is this disrespectful to Chris Family? Chris is not a victim so please don't try to make him seem like a good kid who didn't do anything wrong..Irregardles he was involved in criminal (yes I said criminal) activity. He obviously knows something and maybe he's not saying? I hope they all pay for the life they took. "

" Thank you valleykitten. We are all trying to be strong and truly believe in our hearts that he is innocent and did not do this crime. There are two sides to a story and Our cousin has a great heart and wouldn't dare hurt anyone they way he is accused of. I love him dearly and am praying for him and our family!!
I have known Danny for at least five years, he is good friends with my son, my son is older and as always tried to be there for Danny and his brother. He has spent time at my house and gone to 49er games with us. I think he is a great kid..I can not imagine he is guilty...And just for the record for people that want to judge , my son is not in a gang..he is just a caring person, who befriended Danny and cares a great deal for him, as do I....again we are praying for him and his family...and remember people innocent until proven guilty...get off your soap boxes and stop judging...you do not even know him or the situation...Blessings to all. And much love to Danny. "

Remember the case of Charles Manson who never actually killed anyone but encouraged others to do so? He is spending the rest of his life in prison because of it. Don't think it can't happen to you. Let this be a lesson to all of those who run to the scene of gang violence and play any participatory role. If you say even one word or make one gesture toward promoting violence against another person, you could spend the rest of your life behind bars. If that's the quality of life you seek, then be my guest. Be prepared to pay the consequences. See if I care. I consider it natural selection and I do not mind you being behind bars the rest of your life. "

Have some faith in our judicial system.
It may not be perfect but, It is a helluva lot better than say Mexico or most other countries where bribery and corruption decides your fate.
BTW,
!LiVe!LaUgH!LuV!, janet707, amayazmami707,
Please, Please, get some spelling lessons or at least use "spell check"
Your comments may be taken more seriously if your words were spelled correctly!
