Ohio resident tops all in Pro Football Pool

David Castellanos of the Cast Guide Service (www.SmithRiverFishing.com) reported that these salmon were landed on the Smith River on a recent outing. The catch on the left was 50 pounds and the one on the right was 22 pounds.

Donald Maggini

MAUI, Hawaii - Donald Keith Maggini, 53, of Napa, passed away Sept. 19, 2008, while vacationing in Hawaii with his fiancee. He was born Aug. 10, 1955, in Hollister, and attended Placer and Foothill high schools, graduating in 1973. He was an electrician at Napa Electric. His favorite pastimes were baseball, NASCAR, camping, and spending time with his loved ones.

Edward Myall

SPOKANE, Wash. - Edward A. Myall, 79, passed away on Sept. 8, 2008, at his home in Spokane, Wash. He was born in French Camp and grew up in the Stockton area. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he moved to Napa. He married Phyllis Barnes in 1981. He was employed by NAVELEX as an electronics technician, until his retirement in 1984. He moved from Napa to Spokane to be near his daughter, after the death of his beloved wife in 2000.

VALLEJO - John Carl Hinkle Jr. passed away Sept. 23, 2008, after a long illness, surrounded by his family. The day of his passing was  the same day of his 58th wedding anniversary with his wife, Theresa.

BENICIA - Gwendolyn Mae Metzler died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008. She was a resident of Benicia since age 2. She was born in Wilson, Penn., in 1925.
