For most of my school life I have been told to "keep my hands to myself" and to "use my words" when I want to express my likes or dislikes, at Tae Kwon Do classes to avoid conflict and give a warning before proceeding to protect the two feet of space around me, at home, to protect and help the weak or the one in need (animals included).

Dear editor, I am a white female voter, currently retired after a lifetime of work, supposed to be a factor in this election. Though sometimes playing with my paper dolls or doing homework, the daily news of the world colored my life. I have been interested in politics ever since, sometimes voting Republican and other times Democratic, always with one thought in mind: Who cares most about his country and his people? Dear editor, Call me psychic or cynical, this is my prediction for what will occur if the McCain-Palin ticket wins:

This whole situation with Keith Caldwell and the improper educational bonuses stinks to high heaven, and now the American Canyon City Council has added to the mess by failing to do their Democratic duty to the public and tell us the truth about what went on. It shows real gutlessness on the part of the American Canyon City Council, and couldn’t be a more undemocratic decision.
