On Friday night, two Napa residents were arrested on suspicion of possession and transportation of a controlled substance, Napa Police reported Saturday.

Police stopped Kelly Aultman, 49, for a vehicle violation as she drove along the 900 block of Adrian Street. Two bags of methamphetamine were then found in Aultman’s wallet after she consented to a search of the vehicle, police said. Her passenger, Richard Reed, 52, was also arrested.
Aultman and Reed were booked at Napa County Jail.

" I hope that the writer just didn't have all the facts when she states that this green fellow was only charged with possible DUI and probation violation, as anyone that saw this high speed chase has to agree that Green should be charge with so much more... How about fleeing from the cops? How about speeding in excess of 60 miles per hour in a 25 zone? How about endangering the lifes of anyone out on the sidewalk or street when he went on his little rampage? How about charging them both with associating with other felons? I got my fingers crossed that the writer of this story just didn't get all the facts from the cops........ "

" Where's the rest of the story? There must be more to it than what's there. Don't the folks who live in the neighborhood of the lab have the right to know? "

" Since they split our story up and didn't move the comments to follow the correct story. My response was to the story about the "short pursuit ends in crash" I am very anxious to see the charges brought against the driver, as this headline should have been. "Truck leads police on a high speed chase that ends in a crash" (60-70MPH in a residential area) Looking forward to seeing if the police and DA take a zero tolerance regarding being drunk, on probabtion, and leading police on a high speed chase and then crashing into a car and tree.. How about giving us all the charges NVR??? There are plenty of People on Encanto, Dale, Paulson and Gordon looking to see what justice will be handed down as this guy put everyone at risk by his foolish and criminal actions. "

" Anyone ever notice how the names of certian people in this town keep getting busted over and over with little or no jail time? I see names of long time Napa criminals getting busted time and time again for meth and related thieft, burgluary, ect. How is it that one guy last week can be busted for felony burglary, have $100,000. bail and have one of our local judges let him walk on an O.R.? I see in the NVR every week all the burglaries and thieft from autos. There is an epidemic of tweekers in this town. Probation should do their job and test all known meth users regulary and search their residences for stolden property. Then the courts should throw the book at them. Especially repeat offenders "

" darkstar- I think they do test the tweakers if they are on probation, like a weekly urine test, if that is ordered by the judge? How long does meth stay in the system? "
