CommentCAL FIRE, Napa County Fire Department and the Napa Communities Firewise Foundation hold the next Firewise meeting Sunday, Sept. 21, 1- 4:30 p.m. at the Pope Valley Farm Center. The September meeting features presentations from Tucker Acres and Berryessa Estates Fire Safe Councils on the steps each community is taking to prepare for the eventuality of a major wildland fire. Also, Stephen Gort, NCFF Director, explain the process, and outline the resources that are available to communities, to create a Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
