" My condolences go out to the victim's family.

Can the NVR verify the spelling of the last name of the victim? Another local news website lists her last name with a spelling of "Nelsen". Thanks. "

" I am praying that this is not the Kathy Nelson that I know. Please NVR, could you check on the spelling of the last name? "

" MarkMiwords:

The NVR has now corrected the name. The original article said Kathy Nelson, then the name was changed to Karen Nelson, and finally it was changed to Karen Nelsen which was reported on other news sites. I believe the spelling of the victim's name is correct now. "

" Karen will be missed. Always enthusiastic and energetic, Karen was a friend to many of us that are involved with local horticulture activities.

As a dedicated volunteer with the Napa Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, she always shared her knowledge and passion for native plants with people coming to the plant sales or workparties.

My heart goes out to her family who I am sure is missing this wonderful person...Steve Konakis "
