Write your job description for president
Sunday, August 31, 2008
Save and Share Share
We are in the process of electing a new President of the United States. Those active in the political process have their opinions on John McCain and Barack Obama, but what about taking a bit of a different spin this time around.

If you had to write a job description for what the president should do, what would you include?
No, this is not about McCan and/or Obama, this is for any person in America to be president.

What would your criteria be, what education, what background, what job should a president do?

" First and foremost they must have a deep and visceral LOVE OF THEIR COUNTRY, it's history, greatness, generosity and it's unique role in the world. Moral relativists need not apply.

Second, they must be LEADERS. We have more than enough 'consensus builders' in the Congress. The successful candidate should adhere to an fundamental ideology that guides them and forms the basis of their policies and goals. Their ideology should be made public and be promoted constantly. Pragmatists need not apply.

Finally, the candidate should have a VISION for America. Not another Peace Corp, Americorp, Fill-in-the-blank corp but a real goal that will improve not only America, but the whole world. ( e.g. Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviet Union, Bill Clinton brought us globalization, George Bush defeated the Islamofascists, etc...) Community organizers need not apply.

In that most of the problems facing this country are due to the fact that Congress is made up mostly of LAWYERS, and that they pass laws favoring LAWYERS, laws that are interpreted by other LAWYERS sitting on the Courts; LAWYERS NEED NOT APPLY! "

" Kevin: You beat me to the punch on most points. However, I would add that the candidate for President must have worked for a minimum of five years in an entry level, non-government, for-profit, private sector job. The candidate should then have a minimum of 15 years progressively responsible experience in a private sector, for-profit company that is not, nor has ever been, owned by a family member. However, entrepreneurship (starting a company from NOTHING) and developing that into a successful thriving enterprise would be a major plus.

A candidate who has experienced losing everything, and then rebuilding, would absolutely get my vote. "

" Hmmm, I'll just stick with the Founders' requirements... somehow I don't think all the doodads that the 'Usual Suspects' want to apply to the job were what the Founders had in mind.

I am pretty sure if the Founders had wanted to keep lawyers, altruists, pragmatists or whatever the 'bogeyman of the week' the self-styled 'conservatives' want they could have written it in the document that self-styled 'conservatives' want to amend to suit themselves.

Instead they kept the job requirements simple so as to make the job available to many citizens.

The standards haven't been set too high -- after all George W. Bush was eligible.

2. Secure the borders.

3. Keep the nation strong, economically and defensively, but don't use the defense capability without darn good reason (which leaves out about two-thirds or more of the wars we have been in).

4. Honor our existing commitments but be much more careful about making new ones.

Oh one more thing. Stop teaching our kids that government is the place to turn to for solutions to all your problems. Turn to your mirror instead. "

That makes me a TOP choice because i confront evil every time I post here at the NVR.

Vincent Bugliosi, the famous prosecutor who put Charlie Manson behind bars wants a shot at Bush and Cheney - I am all for giving it to him.

I think most decent people would consider liars and document forgers who conspired to cause the death and wounding of thousands of American service members as evil criminals.

Especially if they pretended to be patriots while they sat in the White House and discussed ways to torture prisoners. Even John Ashcroft ended up ashamed of what the Bushites did in America's White House.

That kind of behavior can definitely be difined as evil and villianous, I am more than happy to confront these criminals.

The second thing I noticed was how many folks were desperate to place a 'current timestamp' on a document written for generations of Americans to expect their government and its officers to abide by.

The founders warned against the rise of political parties who would put their interests above that of the American people.

Not many of the qualifications listed by the partisan posters would stand the test of time.

" I have a question for the author of this article...whoever you are. You are asking for a description of the president of the United States....but you forgot to add the "OF AMERICA" part. Why? Article II which outlines the Executive office clearly states that the executive power is vested in the president of the United States of America. So my description of the president starts off with changing the office to reflect Article II because I want a president of the United States of America...NOT just the United States! My president would take the required Article VI oath that "SUPPORTS AND AFFIRMS" the US Constitution and the president that you ask a description of takes a different oath. We all know THAT oath because it was taken by our very first president, George Washington as well as every president that has followed him. Wow! So then MY president would actually take BOTH of these oaths and the rest of my description would simply include that this individual that represents me must recognize the common laws that existed before good ol George and the rest of his freemason buddies took over and created stautes. The common law still exists because it HAS to but existing statute laws can be immediately eliminated if we have a president that takes the proper oath and restores the power to the people of this country. The executive power is limited to what the constitution allows. The truth is that what we really have is a legislated president that takes the wrong oath so what can we possibly expect to receive from a president of the United States? I don't know about you but this makes a lot of sense. Words mean everything... "

The qualifications of a president are irrelevant. George Washington lied to all of us. Let's correct his error and force our next president to take the proper oath. The description of a president is not nearly as important as what he or she actually does.... "

That is why we as americans don't seem to get along. That is why the black swan that awaits you will prove the truth is the only thing that will set us free. I have no problem with people not wanting to know the truth and supporting the status quo. If those same people attempt to force the system on others that want nothing to do with it, the result is what we currently have. The fact that we can't unite is the coup they continue to pull off. As long as we disagree and choose to avoid a unified response, we will forever be slaves to the system. Our financial system is collapsing right before our eyes and the overall economic outlook is bleak at best. I am offering a solution, how about you kevin? What do YOU have to offer? It never ceases to amaze, the masses can be so self destructive. We need to help educate one another and this venue is perfect. Let's use this tool to assist each other rather than to attack and criticize. Be open to what others have to say, it may save you grief down the road. " Really? Am I not clear enough? Did you find the US Constitution and read it? That's a start but it requires critical thinking and this is not taught in our schools...it shows when our children are compared to others. In Europe, critical thinking is in every curriculum and is how they teach their children to solve problems. Things are not as we might believe them to be. In other words, what you THINK is the truth is in fact nothing but smoke and mirrors. We are surrounded by lies and to understand what the truth is, you must identify fact from fiction. The US Constitution HAS 2 PRESIDENTS! Go to the government website and pull up the online version of the US Constitution. Perform a search for the two presidents. The first discrepancy appears in the PREAMBLE. Read it! The very first sentence refers to "The people of the United States"...but there is no "of America". Then as you continue to read, you will find that at the very end, it reads, "establish this constitution for...the united states of america." It is obvious that they mean two different things. The united states could be "of Europe".for that matter so "of America" is rather important and changes the entire meaning of the sentence. Article one refers to a president of the united states and your search for THAT president will show that. Then search for president of the united states of america. Article II starts out, " the executive power is vested in the president of the united states of america." Our president is NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN "the president of the united states of america.! Our president IS, and ALWAYS HAS BEEN, the president of the united states. No "of america" EVER existed. "

BUT THEY DON'T! The executive power is vested in a president that we have NEVER EVER had. We have always had a president of the united states who is in reality a legislated officer. That's right, he has NO EXECUTIVE POWER. So what KIND of power does he REALLY have? Well the word absolute comes to mind and we all know absolute power corrupts absolutely so what the heck did we expect? Hopefully there are some of you beginning to connect the dots and the truth is beginning to come in to focus. Don't give up if you don't understand this right away. We have been brainwashed most of our lives by TV and other media sources so our brains are programmed to resist this type of thought. It provokes sadness and depression to think that our own government has been lying to us all this time and that we have been hoodwinked by people that we entrusted. That's the part you must get past and realize it's been that way a loooong, looong time. Get over it. Now what are we going to do to stop this craziness and put us on track? Force the president of the united states to take the Article VI oath that would make him the president of the united states of america because he takes an oath to "SUPPORT AND AFFIRM" the us constitution. It's NEVER been done before...what do we have to lose? "

" So now, the document that created a perpetual Union among the Confederate states was the Articles of Confederation. Unlike a constitution, the original Articles of Confederation required no oaths be taken. The conspiracy among the delegates to the Constitutional Convention to remove and replace the Articles of Confederation with the Constitution is not Washington’s alone. Washington’s secret was so great and cunning that he was able to create a new Union with it’s own specific oath. The Constitution is an occult creation because it hides within itself its true nature. Ratification by nine States is sufficient proving the Constitution is not a Union of sovereign, free and independent States. Nine States can elect someone to the Office of President and at least that many unanimously elected George Washington to the Office of President on February 4, 1789. By the simple act of taking the oath to the Office of President of the United States on April 30, 1789, President Elect George Washington turns the Constitution into a new articles of confederation creating “a more perfect Union.” No one seemed to notice at the time that the oath he took and the oath to the Office of President didn’t match. The oath he took appears in the middle of the Constitution and the oath of Office of President, the oath he should have taken, is where you would expect an oath to be, at the end.

Ok raven, I am thinking that this may be a good place to stop and allow you to think about what I just wrote. Can you prove I am wrong yet? I am only getting warmed up here so hang on because it only gets better! too be continued... "

" George Washington becomes the government for as long as Congress is afraid to impeach him and impeaching him would be easy since the only requirement is that the Chief Justice preside. Even in impeachment George Washington has the upper hand. He appointed the Chief Justice because there’s no real President because the Office of President is vacant. The House of Representatives needs no good reason to impeach the President of the United States since he is an Article I Officer and not the Article II President. If the Houses impeach without an Article II reason, the truth begins to come out about the President Elect taking the wrong oath. This is how George Washington’s curse has maintained broken government and will continue so long as the secret is kept. The Constitution that was sent to the States for ratification made provision in Article I for a local government limiting legislation and taxation to a small government District, the Northwest Territory, other territory and property belonging to the United States of America. Article II confirmed the existing executive power in a President of the United States of America under the still viable authority of the Articles of Confederation. That same President of the United States of America would also have authority pursuant to the new Constitution for the United States of America as occupant of the Office of President. Article III established a supreme Court to exercise the judicial power of the Confederacy over the States relating to the powers they had delegated and those described in Section 2. Still there??? Think about that for awhile, too be continued.... "

" okay cameltoe....the articles of confederation were used by the original13 states....not by the confederate states...as for the rest of your rant.....your flight of fancy as to the rest as more more basis in reality than the fake moon landing or the flat earth....the only thing Washington did different from the single oath of office in the Constitution was adding "So help me God" which is not in the oath in the Constitution...and there is no oath at the end of the constitution that I can find...

nine states did not elect a president....nine states ratified the constitution which then provided the mechanism for the first election among the 13 states...washington received only 69 votes, john adams got 34...

and the only conspiracy among the delegates to the constitutional convention was to keep the proceedings secret, which madison violated my making notes about the proceedings...

so keep going cameltoe...my old constitutional law professor is loving your posts.... "

cameltoedoc wrote on Sep 23, 2008 5:29 AM:

" Raven, I actually wrote about 10 more posts on the subject but the NVR did not post them all. I guess they thought my description of the president doesn't "fit" this thread. Too bad, I was really on a roll too. Your constitutional law professor loves my posts because very few people have figured out what I speak of. So you consider yourself a constitutional law expert and that's great. So NVR, please allow this comment..after all, this is good for all of us, is it not? Raven, George Washington presided over the secret Constitutional Convention, from its beginning on May 25, 1787 to September 17, 1787, so we know the power of the occult was loose in Philadelphia. We, also, know for certain the occult power of secrecy was used to convince the public that the Articles of Confederation could be and were replaced by a mere constitution. The document that created a perpetual Union among the Confederate states was the Articles of Confederation, which unlike a constitution requires no oaths. The conspiracy among the delegates to the Constitutional Convention to remove and replace the Articles of Confederation with the Constitution is not Washington’s alone. Washington’s secret was so great and cunning that he able to create a new Union with an oath. What sayeth your professor to this factual data? "

Raven wrote on Sep 23, 2008 8:02 AM:

" okay last time cameltoe...no constitution anywhere automatically requires oaths...

if you know for certain occult power of secrecy was used ...then it didnt work cuz you know about it...

there were no Confederate states until 1860.....

Congress under the Articles of Confederation dissolved itself and the articles once the Constitution had been ratified..

and you don't really want to know what I and my professor think of your fantasy world, do you? "

napawineo wrote on Sep 23, 2008 9:49 AM:

" Raven, I have read all your posts as well as cameltoedocs posts... It seems your whole disagreement with the doc is based on a fantasy professor you say you are talking with.. Sure I don't understand all that the doc is saying but atleast he/she isn't trying to mock you with his/her comments...Your whole argument would be more valid if you thought through the responses and layed off the name calling...Oh and if you really have a professor in the bag, how about letting him/her speak for themself?? "

cameltoedoc wrote on Sep 23, 2008 2:39 PM:

" Hey thanks napawineo! raven needs to go back to school and learn how to read english and stop trying to re-interpret and re-define something that is perfectly clear. I don't know about you folks but I certainly want a president that takes the right oath, don't you? And "this Constitution" DOES require oaths be taken...sorry raven but your ARGUMENT has holes all over it. You are missing my entire point and are essentially clueless. Read Article II again and what is the very first sentence? Who has the executive power? The president of the United States of America. Now our president is and always has been the president of the United States. There are clearly two presidents here with a third mentioned in "this Constitution" as well that is appointed by the president of the United States of America. I really don't think you have EVER actually READ the US Constitution in its entirety... If you had, you would be asking me questions instead of writing things that make no sense. You still have not proven that I am wrong about there being two completely different presidents in the constitution. If you are going to say I am wrong then you have to back it up with something that is valid and has a source to support what you are telling me. You have provided NOTHING! Come on, if you are going to participate in this "argument", please do your homework FIRST! thank you. "

Raven wrote on Sep 23, 2008 4:37 PM:

" napawineo...my disagreement with him is based purely on the fact that he doesn't know what he is talking about......cameltoedoc, is living in a fantasy world where the occult was behind the creation of the constitution...

never said I have one in the bag but forwarded them to my old prof at Sac State so he can get a glimpse at what passes for constitutional history these days....and I have not voiced any of his opinions other than that he finds camel very entertaining.....

that said,.....is anything I have said about his posts incorrect?...I can stand correction, welcome it as a matter of fact.... "

cameltoedoc wrote on Sep 24, 2008 2:12 PM:

" Yes Raven, you said my argument was FULL of holes....so where are they? I quote historical facts, not fiction. You can go to the government website and PROVE it for yourself yet you have not even attempted. I am afraid Raven that your sense of what reality truly is can be manipulated very easily.../.ESPECIALLY by people who you hold in high esteem. You are the one that doesn't know what they are talking about. You are just regurgitating what your professor has written to you in response to my assertions. I can prove everything I write and challenge you to prove me wrong. As yet, you have actually proven that YOU appear to be the one in a fantasy world. Back up your words with some facts and explain to me EXACTLY WHY I am wrong. Just saying I know nothing just makes you look silly...and like your professor really doesn't get it either. Sorry. That's just the truth. "
