CommentNAPA - Elizabeth “Betty” Chrestensen died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Napa Nursing Center. She was born April 15, 1922, in Sopras, Colo., to Joseph and Alice Zanotelli.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Lawrence; son Cal Chrestensen (Susan) of Napa; sister Marie Rackley (Robert) of Antioch; grandson Chad and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lawrence and Betty built their home of 64 years in Richmond, where she retired after 42 years as secretary to the dean of Contra Costa College. They moved to Napa in 2005 to be closer to their son.
