CommentNAPA - Karen Louise Balatti, 49, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008. She was born on Oct. 20, 1958, in San Rafael.
Karen graduated from Redwood High School in 1976 and earned an associate’s degree from College of Marin. She worked as a nurse for 27 years in several states.

Karen is survived by her sister, Dina Balatti of Marin County, and was predeceased by her mother and father, Joan and Edward Balatti, and her brother, John Balatti.
Memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 8, at 2:30 p.m., at Tulocay Chapel, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa.
