Highway 29 closed Monday night due to crash

Highway 29 was closed late Monday night near Manley Lane due to a traffic collision.

CHP listed on its Web site just before 8:30 p.m. there was a fatality in the crash involving a Volvo and a pedestrian on the highway. The crash was reported south of Manley Lane on Highway 29, in between Rutherford and Oakville Cross roads.
The coroner was dispatched to the scene and a Sig Alert was issued by CHP for Highway 29 due to the length of the fulll highway closure.

There is no further information available at this time from CHP on the crash. More information will be posted once it becomes available.
