I always wonder why people buy people buy a new sports game every year. Is it because of gameplay changes? Roster changes? Or are they just that obsessed?

Seriously, it’s time to get out of our cars, at least occasionally, and think of other modes of transportation.

With a new school year under way, I returned to the home of the one-time Trinity Crusaders on Redwood. It is now the proud home of Kolbe Academy & Trinity Prep, as the two small but excellent Catholic academic schools have joined forces.

I would presume that, like me, many seasoned citizens spend at least a portion of their waking hours reminiscing about the past and noting how things have changed.

My mantra for the week is this: Nothing I can feel on or after a long walk can feel as bad as cancer.
