California Highway Patrol investigators believe a Pope Valley teen may have suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash because she was not properly secured in the driver’s seat of her 1990 Subaru.

Stacey Juliano, 17, was airlifted by the CHP helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital on Thursday night.
She was in critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman said on Friday afternoon.

Around 9 p.m., Juliano was northbound on Pope Valley Road, near Ink Grade, when she allowed her vehicle to drift off the roadway and strike an oak tree, CHP Officer Jaret Paulson said.
At this time alcohol or drugs are not considered factors in the crash, Paulson said.

" My only solace when it seems my prayers have not been heard is found in the book of Isaiah.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts." --Isaiah 55:9

God, I don't understand, but you do. I know you'll explain later and then this will all make perfect sense. Until then, this hurts. "
