Animal control call escalates to violence
By MARSHA DORGAN

The fur started flying on Tuesday when a Napa County animal control officer contacted a Napa woman about a cat bite.
An officer showed up at Kali Ananda Wright’s residence in the 1400 block of Fourth Street to investigate a complaint about a cat bite, police said.
Wright became agitated and whacked the animal control officer in the head several times, causing minor injury, police said.
She took off in her car. When she returned a short time later, she drove by the officer and a Napa police officer.
The Napa police officer followed her and watched as she lost control of her car at Franklin and Division avenues.
Wright, 34, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and battery.
Domestic violence arrest
A Napa man allegedly got a hefty dose of bug spray in his face during an argument with another man at a residence in the 1700 block of Pueblo Avenue on Tuesday.
The man told police he and Jeffery Mickelsen were arguing when Mickelsen sprayed him and pushed him down the stairs, injuring his ankle, police said.
Mickelsen, 48, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

If the cat did bite Ms. Wright, I hope they give it medical treatment. Ms. Wright seems to have a potentially communicable case of the Howling Crazies. "
