Don't let democracy get hacked
Dear editor, There is still time to prevent another election from being stolen. Join the Unitarian Universalists’ Social Justice Committee in a conversation about simple actions that can be done to reach the goal of votes being accurately counted. We invite Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, Napa, American Canyon and Vallejo citizens to participate in this crucial issue.
HBO’s documentary, “Hacking Democracy,” uncovers intentional voter fraud, voting machine tampering and secrecy with the current election process. The filmmakers follow a Seattle grandmother as she investigates allegations and incriminating evidence of misconduct in counties of California, Florida, Ohio and Washington state. If you did not see this shocking film last month, you can view it online at www.moviesonline.com/hacking-democracy.php.
Our guest speaker is Joanne Gifford, a longtime educator, organizer, activist and computer geek. She believes that citizens of every political stripe generally hold in common the view that if we are to remain a vibrant democracy we must facilitate the highest level of voter participation possible. “Because my grandmother was a suffragette, I feel compelled to help organize ethical voting principles to ensure that every vote is fairly counted.”
It has been said that the only way evil can prevail is for good people to do nothing.
Please join us Sunday, Aug. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Boys & Girls Club, located at 1515 Pueblo Ave., Napa. For further information, please call 226-3975.

I simply do not trust things done in the name of "social justice". Typically, when "social justice" is invoked, people are stripped of their individuality and lumped in to a category so that their personal belongings and earnings can be redistributed to another group who feels entitled.
Our nation is founded on individual rights and responsibilities...not "social justice". Individual rights, responsibilities, and accountability prevent an entire group of people from being guilty of something they did not do. "

Just another liberal "inconvenient truth", that has no facts in evidence, and full of socialistic bias and twisted truths.
People with common sense can recognize this for what it is.... Bait for the intellectually challenged. "

I have yet to see credible proof of dishonest elections favoring conservatives or libertarians. I do remember a Democrat caught on tape in San Diego telling illegals how to vote in our elections a couple of years ago. Care to comment on that, Ruff? "

You are not possibly suggesting that...no...are you?...you couldn't...liberals are so truthful, they would never -I repeat- never even consider...oh no... "

Let's make sure the cameras follow the voters in Chicago.
Let's make sure "ineligible voters" do not vote, including dead people.
Let's make sure eligible voters vote once. "

The arguements against it are propaganda at best. States could waive fees for those who cannot aford them. "
