NAPA - With a warm smile, twinkling blue eyes and a grizzled beard, Jim Grobl demonstrated the power of friendship and a fervent love for both nature and humanity. He was a man of the mountain in touch with the great outdoors and will be missed by many.

BOISE, Idaho - Darlyne Mary Reed, former St. Helena City Clerk, passed away on July 24, 2008, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at her bedside.

Napa - Elaine Mary Lenzi passed away on July 13, 2008, in Napa, after a long illness. Born on May 28, 1936, in Seattle, Wash., Elaine is survived by her husband, Carl Lenzi and his two sons, Mathew and Jonathan Lenzi. She is also survived by her two sons, Dr. Christopher L. Mjelde of Santa Barbara and Michael Mjelde of Santa Rosa and her daughter, Heidi Marie Waitley of San Diego. Elaine was the grandmother of nine grandchildren: Meagan, Kaila, McKenna, Demi, Taryn, Bailey, Quinn, Sydney, Madison and Tanner. Elaine also has extended family in the Seattle area, including her brother Robert Doll of Bellevue, Wash.
