First Friday fun at di Rosa

Di Rosa Preserve hosts its First Friday gathering Aug. 1, 7 to 10 p.m. in the Gatehouse Gallery with trombonist Andy Strain with colleague Kevin Adams, who will perform an electro-acoustic piece that combines movement, sound and light. New art from Oakland is on display and DJ Pascal will provide music to accompany summer cocktails in the gallery, which overlooks the winery lake.
