Enough already with the complaining

Dear editor, I would like to ask all of the folks whining and complaining about the Fourth of July parade to get up and do something about it. Volunteer. Offer to help. Do something. The complaining is far worse than the parade could have ever been.

Enough already.

" Typical Napans. There is more complaining and apathy here than anywhere else I know. They like to feel sorry for themselves. "

" Well, if everyone volunteered to work and participate on the parade, then there would be no one to watch the parade. "

" If anyone hears of where to volunteer let us know. I know people who work for the city and no one was ever asked to help. There is always notices going around via e-mail about helping iwth things by nothing about the parade. "

" All someone would have to do is to post in the Register and there are many people who read these boards who would help. I say let's make next year's parade awesome! "

" Based on a post in response to a previous letter, Councilman Mott says he is working on the parade. I'm sure he can be reached through the city offices. "

" For the complainers: If you want to help you need to actively participate, they arent going to come to you !!

Much like politics, you cant sit there and say this and that and expect action from the comfort of you recliner, you need to pursue things and contact people. "
