Donny Robinson, a 2001 Napa High School graduate and member of the three-man BMX team that will represent the United States at the Beijing Olympics next month, will be featured in a special episode of cable network MOJO HD’s “A Shot at Glory,” a 10-part series that delves into the mindset and motivation of America’s most promising and extraordinary athletes.

Robinson’s half-hour episode is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, and repeat at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.
The world’s No. 1 ranked BMX racer, Robinson paves the way as his sport makes its first Olympics appearance this summer. In the episode, Robinson, his coaches and his family discuss the intense training schedules, mentors and role models, career-making competitions and personal attempts behind his hard-fought climb to the upper echelon of the sport. In addition, BMX superstar Mike King talks about Robinson and the challenges he faces in world competition.

Donny began competing at age 5 at the Napa Valley BMX track in the summer of 1989. In 1996, he was named one of “The 10 Hottest Amateurs” and future top Pro BMXers by BMX Plus!
