On Saturday evening at around 6 p.m., a Sacramento woman eastbound on Highway 128 east of the Silverado Trail lost control of her motorcycle after she approached a curve too fast, the California Highway patrol said Saturday.

The woman, whose name was not available, was airlifted by REACH helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries, said CHP Sgt. Kathryn Bassett. Her injuries are not considered life threatening, she said.
The accident remains under investigation. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the accident, Bassett said.
