Redwood toasts Fourth festivities
Dear editor, It was a pleasure and an honor to once again be a sponsor of the Fourth of July fireworks at the Veteran’s Memorial Park this year. Thousands of folks came out to enjoy the music, food, parade, children’s activities, and, of course, the fireworks!
I had the privilege and honor of working with Greg Coleman, Julie Morales, Peter Mott, Scott Sedgley and Samantha Holland-Wagner, to garner sponsor support, outline the day’s events and create a VIP reception for all the sponsors. Special thanks go to Julie for her tireless commitment to making this day memorable for us, year after year.
I would like to publicly thank Jim Brandt, owner of the Napa General Store, for graciously providing fireworks seating and box dinners to the sponsors, and to Sara Brooks, from the Napa River Inn, for helping to coordinate this for us.
Redwood Credit Union is committed to serving and supporting the Napa Valley community; we truly appreciated all the visitors to our booth. Our beautifully restored park made for a perfect setting to celebrate Independence Day with our friends and neighbors, sand I just wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who helped make it such a great event.
Cherie Knox, branch manager / Redwood Credit Union
