How does a person walk around ANY town with a sword and NOT be reported or arrested??? "

" law enforcement needs to do something about all of these grab and run type of robberies.I can think of about half a dozen in the past two weeks.Maybe citizens need to be more involved and report guys running down the road in black clothing when its 80 degrees out.we never hear about suspects being caught. " If you want to make life hard for the criminals we as citizens must help the police and report suspicious activity. Don't be apathetic and let your neighborhood become an easy target. "

What exactly can law enforcement do to prevent them - post a cop at every store? And yes they are caught search for an article on the arrest of Brian Klinger. He was arrested for 10 "grab and run" robberies. Open your eyes before you speak people. "

" Ebony and Ivory? With swords? We should call in the Mystery Gang to help solve this crime. Did the woman call the police or email the incident to them? NPD is a joke. I don't know how many times we were vandalized and nothing came out of having the police involved. Even when the criminals drove right past them at full speed, they decided to stop and ask my husband questions of why he was chasing a car?
We all must start taking the law into our own hands. "

" The cost of living in Napa has not reached it's peak yet. Robbery has been a easy number one crime on the planet Earth since the beginning of time. Napa is not exempt from any crime that any city, town or village; Napa is just like any other small town. Crime will occur anywhere in the world at any given time; it there is a need, there is crime. Live with it, it will continue as the Murphy's Law is always truly right. "

" Does this store have a name?
Crime will continue to go up in Napa as long as the economy stinks and the unemployment rates goes up. "

" "YOUNGNAP"...I AM SUGGESTING THE POLICE SHOW MORE PRESENCE IN THE CITY.10 GRAB IN RUN ROBBERIES MEANS 10 TO MANY.HE WAS ONLY CAUGHT AFTER THEY POSTED A PHOTO.YOU MEAN 9 OTHER STORES HAD NO CAMERA'S.MY EYES ARE OPEN AND CAN SEE THIS IS STILL HAPPENING AFTER THIS GUY WAS ARRESTED.OBVIOUSLY THIS SORT OF THING IS INCREASING BECAUSE THE RISK OF BEING CAUGHT IS LOW. " Hmm.. I wonder...What if the description of the man were to change. And be something like this..
"He was described as hipanic"
First five minutes of the article being posted there would be at least 20 comments. Everybody commits crimes. I don't think theres a criteria you have to meet in order to commit a crime. Please people get that in your heads. Just like someone said before. "As long as people live on this earth there will be crimes." Even if you live in Paradise California. LOL "

" The Supreme Court recently upheld our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. This right extends also to business owners and to their employees. I strongly suggest to Napa business owners, considering the recent rash of robberies, please arm yourselves and your employees, if you care about protecting not only yourselves and your employees, but also average citizens who may be innocent victims of such crimes. "

" If the NPD is understaffed write a councilperson. Look at how many murders they have solved in the past 5 years. I believe they have nearly a perfect record. Its so easy to be critical from your nice comfy computer. Try taking a ride along and catching all these "thieves " that roam the street. You apparently have an eye for crime that NPD does not. "
