The new Tulocay & Co. Made in Napa Valley Culinary Centre has opened near the airport.  

Conceived as a way to spotlight products from Tulocay & Co.’s selection, the new culinary centre includes an extensive retail store, a café featuring foods made with the company’s products, and a patio suitable for casual eating or corporate events.

Tulocay makes a wide line of premium prepared sauces, dipping oils, marinades, condiments, baking mixes and rubs under the Made in Napa Valley brand and the lower-cost Vineyard Pantry products sold in supermarkets. It also recently bought the Kingslake & Crane premium granola snack mix line.

They serve breakfast starting at 7 a.m. and are open until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will be open on Saturday starting July 19, the day of the public grand opening.

Tulocay & Co. Made in Napa Valley Culinary Centre is at 388 Devlin Road.

    

NapaStyle open, to hold grand opening

Michael Chiarello’s NapaStyle retail store opened last week in the rear building of the V Marketplace in Yountville.

There will be a grand opening Sunday.

Unlike the other four NapaStyle stores, this one has an informal deli where you can buy food and  eat at the attached patio.

Flora Springs to unveil new tasting room

Flora Springs Winery & Vineyards will open its new tasting room in St. Helena to the public on Aug. 8.

It is at 677 South St. Helena Highway.

The new tasting room celebrates its 30th anniversary. It was designed by Joel Miroglio of Miroglio Architecture + Design

Harvest Stomp with grapegrowers

Tickets now available for the Napa Valley Grapegrowers’ Harvest Stomp, Sept. 6.

It will be their first harvest festival. It will be held at the historic Red Barn at Round Pond Estate in Rutherford, 5-9 p.m.

Guests will enjoy local, exhibition-style cuisine and have the opportunity to meet Napa Valley grape growers, many of whom will be pouring wines made from grapes grown in their vineyards.

The event will include dancing, an instant cellar raffle and a live auction filled with Napa Valley experiences.

Balloon legend to retire

Don Surplus, founder, CEO, and president of Napa Valley Balloons, has retired after 30 years flying hot air balloons.

The business is being taken over by his business partner of 28 years, Kim Kleist, and Gabe Gundling.
