I pick up the garbage in my neighborhood on Eggleston Street. It looks awful and I can only do so much. Are there street sweepers in this town?

You mean besides you? According to the City of Napa’s Web site, www.cityofnapa.org, yes, regularly scheduled street sweeping occurs between February and mid-October, after which begins a leaf pick-up program for 10 to 12 weeks. Then regular street sweeping begins all over again. To find out which route your street is on, visit the Web site, type “sweeping,” click on the first hit and finally, click on “Citywide Sweeper Route Map.” Here you will find a list of the 30 routes that are swept, along with dates of cleaning for each route. You will also find which areas and streets are outside of the city’s boundaries or private, and therefore not part of the street-sweeping program.
