Who do you support for president, Obama or McCain?

Who should McCain choose as his VP?

OK, folks, you've been debating online here for about two weeks now whether John McCain or Barack Obama is your choice for president.

Now it is time to take the debate one step further, and make your suggestions for the vice presidential candidates.

In this forum, only comments on Obama are being posted.

In another forum, only McCain comments are being posted.

So go for it, positive debate about the VP's here, no other-party bashing allowed.

" Seeing as Obama has a record of bi - partisan cooperation...I think he should go outside the box even more, and take Colin Powell. The reasons for that would be pretty obvious. Mind you, race has NOTHING to do with it!..It would make him hugely strong on things such as national security. Since Mr. Powell's Old bosses are done with him, I think it would add more meat to the plate so to speak! If not Powell, then an ex military man would do. "

Secondly Obama does not have a record of bi-partisanship. His has 2 bills co-authored with a republican;
The Lugar-Obama bill did pass and was to enhance efforts to destroy weapons stockpiles.
The Coburn-Obama bill was to set up a database tracking federal funds to contractors.

Honestly in both those cases it was more of the Republicans working the bi-partisan angle than Obama.

The congressional record is very clear, Obama is left of Sen Kennedy and right of Satan. ;)

I'll be tempted to vote for McCain if he chooses Clinton (she dissed him one too many times). However, there is a wisdom to keeping her close (keep your friends close and your enemies closer). She'd have little incentive to sabotage his presidency if she was on the ticket. "

Oh look...we're being censored again. But only on the Obama VP forum...if you go over to the McCain VP forum, there are suggestions for "Jesus" as his VP candidate. Why wasn't that removed? How is that constructive?

I watch intrade prediction markets close and Wes Clark has went up almost 4 points on no major news being put out. while all other candidates slip. He has thousands of orders in for Clark shares.
