Auction Napa Valley starts Thursday

Auction Napa Valley, the social event of Napa Valley’s year rolls around this week.
The auction organized by Napa Valley Vintners officially starts Thursday with receptions at more than a dozen wineries all over the valley.

Friday is Taste Napa Valley with the barrel tasting and e-auction at Trinchero Estate.
Friday night are dinners hosted by vintners.

Saturday starts with lunch in small groups at wineries, then the  live auction and dinner. Jay Leno will once again MC.
Sunday, the “Next Gen” of vintners will bid attendees farewell at Trinchero Family Estates.

The Heitz family chairs the auction this year.

If you feel a little jealous that you can’t attend, remember that the generous attendees have donated almost $80 million to our medical, youth and other needs in the past. And yesterday, they announced new initiative that would provide even more support for the youth of Napa County.

And volunteers have as much fun as the attendees; sign up for next year if you’d like to join them.
