Napa Valley Girls Fastpitch: MI&V 7, Conwell Insurance 4

Megan Duarte went 2-for-4 with a double for MI&V, while Haley Manning was 2-for-3 with an RBI, Sarah Priestly had two sacrifices and three RBIs, and Paige Logan went 1-for-3 with an RBI. For Conwell, Paige Andres was 2-for-4 with a double, Caitlin Ohlandt 1-for-3 with a double and RBI, and Sophia Baker 1-for-2 with an RBI

Napa Little League: Gentry General Engineering 6, Rasmusen Painting 5

Napa National’s two teams were tied for first place when they met for the second time this season, and Gentry came out on top again, clinching first place. Brandy Marroquin pitched another excellent game, a two-hitter with seven strikeouts. Michael Odell and Nick Dehzad each had a double and Kyle Gentry and Marroquin singled. Nick Politz laid down a great sacrifice bunt in the second inning. Sam Thatcher, Politz and Gentry were able to capitalize on walks. For Rasmusen, Aaron Shortridge had a triple and a single.

Napa Little League: Silva Plumbing 6, Party Time 2

Scott Premo tossed a 77-pitch complete game for Silva, striking out 13 with no walks. He also went 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, while Jake Herron was 2-for-2 and Stephen Emerick, Sam Deardon, Alex Huntsinger and Ross Henderson were each 1-for-3, with Emerick belting a triple. For Party Time, Stephen Santora, Nolan Kelnhofer and Mitch Spinelli were each 1-for-3.

Napa Little League: Swan Pools 15, Advanced Auto Body

A solid all-around team effort for Swan Pools led to its third win in a row. Aidan Willard took the start and gave up two runs while striking out six. Mac Neilson came in for relief in the fourth and gave up three runs but fanned another five batters, and Max Hautala closed the game with two strikeouts and an infield out over nine pitches. Alex Neal, Owen Oster, Levi Oslen, Carson Seibert and Quinn Costello all had good at-bats contributing to the big score.
