Nonprofit fundraising workshops set

 Strap yourself into your fundraising seats and get ready for a fun ride.

Nonprofit organization fundraising guru Maryn Boess, of Grants USA, will be in town the week of June 9 to conduct five fundraising workshops in just four days.
The event is co-sponsored by the Napa Valley Coalition of Nonprofit Agencies, Napa Valley Community Foundation and the Peter A. and Vernice H. Gasser Foundation.

 Bob Orser, executive director of the coalition, calls Boess “the best fundraising trainer on the planet.”
 Workshops featured are:

• Building collaborations that work
How to create and sustain a really meaningful grant partnership. June 9, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at Napa Valley Vintners Community Health Center, Shafer Room, second floor, 1141 Pear Tree Lane, Napa.

• Ultimate grants toolkit

For beginners and veterans alike, an intensive, hands-on, skill-building approach to corporate, foundation and government grantsmanship. June 10, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Child Start, 439 Devlin Road, Napa.

 • The 90-Minute Grant Proposal

How to develop and test a project concept and turn it into a grant program in a matter of minutes. June 11, 9 a.m. to noon, North Bay Regional Center, Room 4-A, 10 Executive Ct., Napa.

• Budget-Building for Grant Professionals

How to develop a mission-driven budget to back up your mission-driven proposal. June 11, 1:30–4:30 p.m. at North Bay Regional Center, Room 4-A, 10 Executive Ct., Napa.

• The logic behind the logic model.

Boess strips away the myths and mysteries surrounding the logic model program evaluation process and gives you the tools and concepts you need to put it to work for you. June 12, 9 a.m. to noon at Queen of the Valley Community Outreach, 3448 Villa Lane, Suite 102.

The fee for the Ultimate Grants Toolkit workshop is $100 for coalition members, $150 for non-members. Fees for the other workshops are $35/members, $50/non-members. All workshops fees are payable in advance.
