• Veterans Home of California at Yountville
Cemetery clean-up, 8:30 a.m. Bring rakes, gloves, hats. Lunch provided.

Posting of colors, 8:30 a.m.
Sunday

• Veterans Home of California at Yountville
Decoration of cemetery, 4 p.m. Public invited to bring flowers and greenery.

Watch fire at the cemetery, 6 p.m.

Monday

• American Canyon

Proclamation, speakers, including American Canyon Mayor Leon Garcia, and music. Sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars American Canyon Post Number 11099, American Canyon Troop Support and the city of American Canyon. 11 a.m. at City Hall, 2185 Elliott Drive.

• Calistoga

Services, including an appearance in period costume by the Sons of Union Veterans, takes place at Pioneer Park, 1308 Cedar Street, 10 a.m.

• Napa

Napa United Veterans Council service, Veteran’s Memorial Park, Third and Main streets. Knights of Columbus Color Corps, prayer offerings and speakers including Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena, a recipient of the Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam.

• St. Helena

The American Legion sponsors a raising of the colors, invocation, a reading by Native Daughters; of the Golden West’s Betty Kimlinger and speakers including Rep. Mike Thompson. St. Helena Public Library, 1492 Library Lane, 10 a.m.

• Veterans Home of California at Yountville

Ceremony at the cemetery. Speakers, music and much more. 10 a.m./Register
