Napa woman killed in Colorado crash

A Napa woman was killed Monday afternoon in a head-on collision on a Colorado interstate, according to Associated Press and Colorado-based newspaper reports.
Kathryn Ann Disparti, 48, of Napa, died after her minivan reportedly collided head-on with another vehicle on Interstate 70 in Grand Junction, Colo., according to news reports.
Disparti, according to law enforcement, was driving the wrong way on the interstate when the crash took place
Toxicology tests won’t be available for up to to six weeks, according to comments from the coroner's office made to area newspapers.
Disparti’s minivan struck a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old Colorado woman, according to law enforcement. The Colorado woman died at the scene and her infant son suffered head injuries in the crash.
Disparti was pronounced dead a few hours after the crash that left both vehicles mangled on Interstate 70. Law enforcement officials estimated both vehicles were moving at 60 mph at the time of the crash.
