President Bush called for U.S. greenhouse gas emissions to peak by 2025. This statement is critical in that it is the first time he specifically set a goal to limit the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming. His admission that greenhouse gases are a problem, and one the U.S. should lead the way on trying to solve, should serve as a final blow, defeating those that feel anthropogenic climate change is a hoax.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has run a long and admirable campaign for president of the United States.
