Candidates for Napa County Supervisor in District 2 and District 5 will appear at a public forum Wednesday at the Little Theater at the Napa Valley College main campus in Napa.

District 2 candidates will speak from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and District 5 candidates from 7:35 to 8:35 p.m.
The forum is sponsored by the Napa Valley Register, the American Canyon Eagle, KVON radio and Napa TV. The event will be recorded for later broadcast on radio and television.

The public is invited to attend and will have an opportunity to submit question cards to the moderators to pose to the candidates.
For those unable to attend, add your questions here and they will be added to the list of available questions for candidates.

NVC’s Little Theater is in the heart of campus, just steps from the campus cafeteria, bookstore and pool.

" i would like to ask where they stand on people who employ illegal immigrants. "

" I would like their opinion on dense development in areas, Angwin to be specific, which lacks proper infrastructure to support it. I wonder how they feel about the high wildfire threat in relationship to dense development in wooded, difficult to access areas. I would also like to ask them if they consider any areas of Napa County equally comparable to Tahoe or San Diego, where wildfires swept through in a ravenous pattern. "

" My questions...are you willing to stand up for education and push for a plan to fix the roads without raising more taxes? "

" Whys is Bill Dodd being so quiet? He could explain why he loves new taxes so much. He could explain why Bay Area Bridge fares are so high while he is on the committee running them. He could explain why the county wants to try again to raise sales taxes to fix roads when the voters sent him packing 2 years ago. He could tell why so many road projects got completed and paid for even after the Measure H tax increase failed. He could tell us why the Transportation Authority which he established wastes $millions running almost empty busess and completely empty trolleys spewing diesel smoke, runing our roads and tieing up traffic.

" Public employee unions are powerful and donate big bucks to candidates in an attempt to perpetuate union control of the entire government process. Union donations are calculated to "Buy" the candidate and his votes. My question to all the candidates is this: If you receive a union donation will you disclose it and will you then decline to vote on any issue involving public employee compensation? If you answer yes to this why should I vote for you because you have effectively made yourself an impotent public official. If you answer no to this you are a crook. "
