Small fire near Silverado Resort

Napa County firefighters rolled to a reported wildland fire behind Silverado Resort  around 7 p.m., Wednesday.

As of 8:30 p.m., the fire had burned about one acre of grass and brush.
According to Calfire, the fire initially threatened some expensive homes. No one was evacuated, Calfire said.

The blaze, which is under investigation, burned on Chaparral Circle, across from Capital Oaks Drive.
Units from several Calfire and Napa city fire stations responded to the fire, including the Calfire helicopter.. By 8 :30 p.m., most of the crews were released

No one was hurt, and no structures were damaged or destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
